Week 7: Dr. Fresch

   Dr. Fresch Name: Tony Fresch From : Tiburon, CA Genre:  Dance, Electronic, House, "Future Ghetto."  Artist Influences : Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots Firefly Performance Day:  Thursday, Friday Monthly Spotify Listeners:  1,075,232 Top3 Songs: Gangsta Gangsta Feedback Take a Step Back 3 Fire Facts: Fresch began playing piano when he was 7 years old, and played in a rock band in middle school.  Fresch chose to keep his birthname in his stage name, but opted to switch to "Dr. Fresch" because he felt it better represented the "groovy style of music" that he makes.  In 2011, Fresch kick-started his career by opening for Steve Aoki.

They wore the same outfits for every show until 2019. Lead singer Neil describes their music as "Sadboy guitar bangerz with too many soloz!" After forming the band they entered a battle of the bands competition, but were eliminated in the first round for "being so normal." This inspired the name of their first album.

Artist Influences : Chaka Khan, John Mayer, Daryl Hall Firefly Performance Day:  Saturday Monthly Spotify Listeners:  3,787,799 Top3 Songs: Photo ID Disco Man Monte Carlo 3 Fire Facts: In 2014, Wolf performed as a contestant on American Idol.  The first song Wolf wrote was a folk ballad titled "carousel," which she wrote at the age of 14.  Her mom said the song sounded like it could be in an 80s porno, which Wolf thought was "weird."  Wolf was once a Junior Olympic ski racer.
