  1. In 2016, Fike was sentenced to house arrest for a battery he committed on a police officer.  In 2017, Fike was sent to jail for violating his house arrest order. While on house arrest and in jail, Fike created and released his first EP, "Don't Forget About Me, Demos."  In jail, Fike relied on noises from the sink in his cell to help spark inspiration. 
  2. In an interview directed by Brockhampton's Kevin Abstract, Fike discussed his struggles with anxiety: "I guess I am just always anxious -- except when I am on stage; it disappears right when I am there." 
  3. Fike has been playing guitar since he was 10 years old.
