From: According to SEB, "I never felt like I had a true hometown. I just feel like I’ve just bounced around a lot. No real roots anywhere."  With that said, he grew up in Chicago, while also spending time in New York, Oklahoma, Haiti, and Miami. 

Genre: SEB calls his music Pop.  In an interview he said, "the fact that I’m black makes it hard for people to just call my music pop." He went on to say, "the whole point of my artist’s existence, right now, is fighting for the idea that a single black artist, who can write and produce their own music, can stand right next to a Taylor Swift or Harry Styles."

3. SEB's Tik Tok mash-up of his song "Seaside_Demo" with Harry Styles' "Watermelon Sugar" went viral in late 2021, sparking the success of the young artist. When asked if Styles had reached out to him, Seb responded, "Nah, not yet. If he does reach out, that would be tight."
