3 Fire Facts:
1. When Schultz was in middle school, his mother passed away from cancer. Initially, he turned to drugs and alcohol to deal with his emotions, but he eventually found music as an emotional outlet. Sueco has been sober since 2021.
2. American Idiot was the first album Schultz ever bought with his own money.
3. The name "Sueco" means "Swedish" in the Spanish language. Schultz, who is of Swedish descent, grew up in a heavily Hispanic neighborhood, where his friends all called him "Suececito" meaning "the little Swedish boy." The name stuck. Last year, when making his transition from rap to punk, Schultz changed his moniker from "Sueco the Child" to "Sueco."
